K-ON! Animax Dubs vs K-ON! Bandai Dubs
I started this topic because people were posting off-topic matter in any topic they feel like and i thought this section of forum should have this kind of topic too.

I have great news for Animax Dubs fans-specifically K-ON! fans.

Today while checking Dubbinz website i found K-ON! (BANDAI DUBS).After watching it i came to the conclusion that Animax Dub of K-ON! is better than U.S version.
But I am not surprised because i knew that they will not be able created better dubs.
Even our new Animax Dubbing Crew have surpassed these Bandai dubbers.

Since, i watched Eureka 7 (bandai dubs) i realized that Animax Dubs will always be better than Bandai dubs whether its Vision of Eskaflowne - Dubbed by animax's best dubbing crew or K-ON!,Eureka 7 -Dubbed by our newer dubbing crew members.

Lets have a comparison between the two Dubs...
i am posting episode 1 dubbed by animax and bandai...

I still prefer the ones made by Bang Zoom! and Bandai U.S.. Ritsu and Mio dubbers are much better on this one!

Animax english dubbed version got lots of faults in it.. :-"

Animax will be airing English dubbed versions of The Disappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star next month!

sorry, but we are not doing that series....there is no need because here nobody like that kind of anime and besides there is a member on www.forum.cartoon-world.org who is doing this series in animax dubs....

well, you can think what you want but soon you will notice many such article describing how bandai dubbed is lower than animax version...i am really looking forward to it....

As far as haruhi 2 bandai dubs is concerned i only watched first 10 min of 1st ep and i feel its better than animax version...haruhi's voice is better suited by voice actor used by bandai...
but rest all other dubbed are no good whether its eureka 7 or eskaflowne or brain powered . they all are bad as compared to animax dubbed version.

I went with Bandai dubs. I feel it's more consistent than Animax, and the lip-synching is a bit better as well.

Yeah the Bandai-Bang Zoom! english dub version of K-ON! is much better than the Animax dub..The problem with the Animax dub version that its rushed that's why its a miscast(they've chose the wrong dubbers for Yui,Azusa and Ritsu). >:(

The Bandai K-ON is waaay too high pitched. The Animax dubs are more natural and more age appropriate.

Yes, i also agree on that...
every V.A. were suited to their character.
If someone has a different opinion on this then he/she should watch the japanese version first.

Natural?I don't think so..Ritsu's dubber in the Animax dub sounds so old so does Azusa and the others..Sounds like the dubbers aren't really interested on what they're doing..A big miscast! >:( No wonder Animax decided to air it in Japanese audio with English subs on its 2nd run..

The Bandai-Bang Zoom dubs was way more closer to the Japanese dub that's why I like it! And the dubbers here can sing too!

That is not the reason for japanese run...then tell me why are they airing nodame canatabile in japanese as well...it just feel like animax is slowly turning into Subbed channel instead of dubs and forcing young teenagers to watch subs on television.

It doesn't concern me in the least whether they run subs or dubs from now on ....because they are just airing big load of crap now a days anyway.KOREAN/JAPANESE Shows,US shows, subtitled anime...
Animax is no long the same channel it use to be few years ago.

Wow! Those Animax bastards are really promoting piracy. Not releasing older dubs on DVD, and not airing re-runs when requested.

But Inuyashakagomef, dubbed versions of 07-Ghost and Letter Bee should be airing later. And most of their anime is in dubbed.
