I started trying to subtitle an anime recently, and got to re-thinking an idea we had once put aside. A subtitle group! Most anime have subtitles which other groups code. But there are still some anime that we like and wish were encoded with subtitles - specially some old classics.

So I was just wondering if anyone is up for it. We could assign jobs later - looking for people who could/would help.

Kyo? AG? DH? Sessh? Ithil? Somebodeh? Anybodeh?

i can help with encoding. For subs, i know jpn a bit - i can understand only easy words. i translate in my mind about 30% spoken words. hards words like scientific terms etc i look at the subs.

subbing is so much work. took me 3 nights to do ep1. now whenever i open ep2 i feel asleep.  -_-;
at this rate i think it will take me 3 months to complete this.

Reasons? -
I noticed that some subs times are way too long - i mean they still keep coming even after the person has spoken the sentence and the scene changes to something else. btw, the voice actors speak too fast in some places.
and some words i just dont understand. some words i cant find in dictionary too so that probably means i heard something else instead of what was being said.  -_-;
