Hmmm....I thought that jackal had his sclpels made out of steel or something but had them changed to something else after he was defeated by ginji in their first meeting.Anyway you have to love the ginji and jackal pair they are awesome especially when they are paired up in the Makubex arc and also during the episode where ginji is hospitalised.
There was this episode with this girl called rei who was supposed to help ban and ginji find some floppy or something and she kept insulting everyone of the characters in the get backers(except makubex and all those people) but even she ends up liking jackal when she sees him and asks him if he has a mail id(that was so funny to watch especially after what she put all the other guys through).

They were metallic at first and then after Ginji beat him up with the magnet trick he changed them to ceramic.

Ginjis expressions with Jackal are hilarious... by far the funniest moments usually involve the two of them.....

High School Girl Vs. Get Backers... that was an episode to remember.... I think it was Ban who said...'Kids these Days' (After watching the girl take Jackal's email Id)

Yeah, that was a darn hilarious episode. It was called "High School Girl vs. Recovery Service" or something.

Thru out the episode Riko drives Ban and Gingi nuts with her whims. And in the end, when Ban and Gingi were rummaging thru the trash and Riko is seen asking Dr. J for his email-id  o_O

Riko: So, your name is Mr. Akabane? Would you like to trade email addresses with me?
Kuroudo Akabane: I'd be delighted.

That would be hilarious^_^.But the manga is so much more detailed than the show in the manga I heard that Jackal was actually a doctor who rescued people and things like that but he couldn't save the life of one boy and something more happened.

I have not read much of the manga. But I plan on purchasing it (All of it) in December this year.

Another thing does Jackal ever quit the transporters towards the ending after the whole makubeX being kidnapped.

They dont seem to be a group in the 1st place..... they work together from time to time.... and thats all.... Not like Ban and Ginji who always work as a team. Himiko, Akabane and Magaruma all take 'solo' jobs as well.

Yeah but they did make a great team in the platinum melon arc.They were really good in that although jackal walked away half way through.

Well he had just been creamed by Ginji..... wanted to prepare himself better before he faced off with him again..... and he did make an important modification right after that fight..... (Ceramic Scalpels)... They did look good together though.....The three of them that is....

here's another fact:

The cap of Jackal initially did not had the 'slit' in it.....it was during one of his fights with Kagami (i think that's the name..of the guy....who was from Babylon city and had pruple hairs) that the cap developed a slit...i.e. it got torn off, at that point....from where jackal now peeps through. o.O
