Yes of course!! A happy ending makes the heart feel lighter and happy after a session of stress,thrill and tension. To say, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Love Hina and Chobits had a happy ending... they really enlighten the day (If only for once... 8) :D )

happy endings are good to watch..........u also end up feeling happy after watching the anime........it also makes u watch it again.......... :)

if it has an ending that we wished its even more better............... :D

More than Happy endings I like complete endings which do not leave me with too many unanswered questions. It is okay to have some unanswered questions but too many of them spoils the fun........

Hmm..... No surprise there....... But all Indians love happy endings...... Bollywood has forced us to love happy endings........ how many Hindi movies actually have a sad/tragic ending? Dunno much about South Indian cinema....... but it cant be that much different.........

its not the films kyo. but i dont think anyone who want to relax while watching anime/films would like a sad ending. we already have hell lot to mourn abt another one would be too much. but a happy ending would definitely relax or even make u forget ur worries for a while.

Ehh, sometimes I like a happy ending, if it fits well into the story.  I hate it when it's totally unbelievable.  Sometimes stories are just meant to have sad endings, and probably the best stories all have tragic conclusions imo.  It's catharsis :)
