Hmm... hard to say... there are Onmyouji anime as well... wonder if those count??

Bleach has a good ranking nonetheless... but there are others which would give it a run for its money.... but... lets call it to be Bleach for now...

Been reading a few interesting manga related to the spirit world....

Death Note and Bleach...

Actually, these are the only two Shinigami Animes I've seen so far...
The World God Only knows is a Manga, and has demons... not shinigamis...

...

Only seen 2 that had shinigami. Bleach and Death Note. I like Bleach more though. I remember when it used to air on CN and I would always change the channel just because I didnt like the intro. What wasted years.
