I agree "Cyborg 009" is quite underrated. The characters of this show are the best aspect of this series. A good example of how to put characters on the forefront and still have action. It has a simple story revolving around good vs evil.

Another series which I think needs mention here is "Silent Mobius". Despite having an all female cast there was hardly any fan service, which was a plus. And the characters were and behaved like adults and not like a bunch of adolescents.

yeah, i agree with u AI.. cyborg 009 was a really great story... loved the character development in it..
and as for silent mobius, i really didn't like it too much, but like u said i never noticed any fan service, inspite of an all female cast..
