Inu yasha in 2001 online though I did not have time to watch all the episodes so in terms of watching a full series it would have to be Escaflowne.

First anime, huh?

Difficult.

I'd have to say that it was a cross between Digimon and Monster Rancher.
Digimon was nicely released in wonderful BoxSets, however, regretfully,
Monster Rancher saw no such thing.
I always did like that yellow talking eyeball (Suezo).

Pokemon, followed by Dragon Ball Z, I lived in Kansas at the time... all they had, was Toonami, now all they have is Adult Swim, apparently Kansas is trying to keep people out by taking away anime, having crazy weather, having no major cities or atractions, and having hardly any people (most are farmers, truckers, rich-snobs, or old people... trust me, I'm not that far off when I say this)

Would have to say Dragonball Z, remember coming home from school and watching that basically everyday, would still be one of my top favorites

My first anime was naruto i think. I'd say Avatar: The last airbender, but that's not counted as an anime.

My first anime that I saw was Ultra maniac. I have seen each episode more than 50 times and I still don't get bored.

My first anime was Sailor Moon.  It was being aired on TV, and I was attracted to the character designs.  Years later, I discovered that it was totally butchered...  Regardless, this show did get me into anime.
