Spoiler for Hiden:
The part in Noein where we find out what happened to Karasu's Haruka. It's so sad when he has the flashback and we see him calling her name and putting his hand against the glass tube they've put her in.

The scene from Clannad~After Story, where Nagisa dies after giving birth. Soon after that, Tomoya goes into SHOCK.
 :(
Also when Ushio dies in the hands of Tomoya. :crybaby:

^The same two scenes from Clannad After Story.  I was also bawling like a baby during the Tomoya-Ushio field scene.

Ano Hana was a major tearjerker for me too, especially the last episode...
Spoiler for Hiden:
...when Jintan & company see Menma again and say goodbye to her before she disappears for good.  :(

Grave of the Fireflies is the only one so far. A few others had me tear up but no more.

Lots of anime's having to do with love. Not just romantic love, but also all kinds of love. =) Like family love, sibling love, friendly love. Those things.

I agree, many of the series that deal with Love do, Amagami SS which is a new favourite that I am just finishing has made me cry a bit many times, and always over happy things, i avoid the excessively tragic ones like Clanad After Story which is just too much a tragic pity party...the Japanese can get a bit extreme at times with the love of tragic tales, but mostly i just cry out of sympathy ...the last episode of Full Metal Panic when Kaname saves Souske is another such moment for me, always brings up a happy tear. fun topic thanks.
