Hey guys,
Great to see such a vibrant community here! I've been a fan of anime for a long time, ever since they showed the You're Under Arrest! show on AXN long, long time ago when I was a kid. I still remember it like it was yesterday, getting up early, no school (since they showed it on weekends) and with the sunlight streaming in; it was my first experience of anime, along with Toonami of course (Ninja Robots, etc.).

Then it all came back full throttle with Animax, and that's what got me really hooked onto anime - all those fantastic shows like Cardcaptor Sakura, GetBackers, Princess Sara, Remi Nobody's Girl, Ultra Maniac, and hundreds of more.  I'll never forget those days. And then I found out there is another forum dedicated to anime fans here with people who have had those same memories with me, and not only that, with the Animax dubs as well. This is like a dream come true.

welcome. i used to watch animax on dishtv and at that time they used to air the original japanese audio too along with the dubbed english. noob that i was, i thought why would anyone want  to hear it in japanese. but once i heard the anime in japanese i just couldn't bear the stupid american accent in the dubbed english audio. too bad after a few months the japanese audio stopped being broadcasted and i stopped watching anime on tv all together.

but yes, the starting 1-2 years of animax were really awesome for the programs they aired. too bad i didn't have anything to record the anime that time.
