The Gomen nasai and the word Gomenasai are a little confusing... How will I know which one is a person reffering to when he pronounces it?

What do you mean by the word 'gomenasai'?

If you want to differentiate between 'Excuse me' and 'I am sorry', it will depend on the context of the speech.....

As far as I can recall (may be incorrect as well...) that Gomenasai means "Good Friend" or something like that... I first saw it on a anime video which was titled Gomenasai.

I have no recollection of this.....(i.e. Gomenasai= good friend)

I however do recall a music video I saw a loooong time ago titled Gomenasai....... the song was about a girl trying to apologize to her best friend...... thats my recollection anyways...... maybe we are thinking of the same video?

I remember I saw it somewhere again recently also.......... but I only glimpsed the title...... didnt watch the full thing.......

Will get back to you on this......

Could be... Now I remember... It was a video by Tatu. You must have heard of them too. They had a famous debut video for "All the things she said". It was on Z-Music. I still remember. It was written Gomenasai. The video was about a girl who saves her friend from her enemies.

Waiting for a reply...
