Movies based on books
« on: December 29, 2010, 08:34:56 AM »
i guess almost all the movies are inspired or adapted from books... some may be full adaptations or have the  story line from the book..
i usually read the book if a movie is drawn from it ...
may be we can discuss those kind of movies.. whether they stuck to the plot ..or butchered it..or beautified it ...its all about the movie-book comparison..
so hop on and join the discussion...  :) n share ur views  here..

I dont feel that any film which has been based upon a book has ever turned out as well. I suppose when get so into a book nothing can meet your expectations.

what you can really appreciate in most movies nowadays are just the visual effects and its impact. the story is just secondary to the development. sad but true.

i actually like the way the lord of the rings trilogy was made. even if it didn't have a lot of the parts from the books, they still made the whole story coherent and enjoyable. one of my fave movies!
