There's just something about Hayao Miyazaki's movies - you have to watch them. I wish he would do more of my favourite author - Diana Wayne Jones. HMC was very good.

Another great anime i watched,
Loved the animation as well as the story.
Dub was not to the level i expected but still was great.
I guess japanese version was much better.
If only i knew japanese....  :(

If I didn't like Howl's Moving Castle so much this would be my favorite anime movie. The characters are great and the animation is beautiful

I loved Spirited Away. It's without a doubt the best anime film that i have ever watched. Hayao Miyazaki is a genius. I just watched Howl's Moving Castle and Ponyo recently and they were just as beautiful as Spirited Away. I don't think any movie he makes will ever disappoint anyone. He's brillant! Since you like Spirited Away so much check out Howl's Moving Castle and Ponyo! p.s. Spirted Away is my all time favorite movie too, along with Howl's Moving Castle :)

I have loved every one of Hayao Miyazaki's works, but this is one of his best. It brings perspective, but also allows the viewer to enter a world of the Japanese psyche unobserved by most outsiders. The interaction between the human and the spirit world and the growing up of Chihiro as she encounters things she could never have imagined make for a story that is not only delightful and inspirational.
