I've gotta admit that I wasn't really a fan of this one. But I don't feel too bad about that as Nobuhiro Watsuki really wasn't all that psyched about it either.  -_-;

Yeah too much of a downer for something from Rurouni Kenshin.  I'm sure the supposed new series will have a much happier ending

I prefer Samurai X OVA rather than TV series. The story telling is good. TV series seems too much of a comedy show.
