Cardcaptor Sakura has way better dub in Animax than the US! Not only because of the butchered storyline, but as well as the voices! The Animax dub is cuter and sounds more like the original!

Cardcaptor Sakura Animax dubs are way better than US dubs. Atleast in the Animax Dub, the girl who has given sakura's voice seems to be in the same age range. The US dubs makes her feel like she is in her 20's.

Another good animax dub is Slam Dunk. Haven't seen the american dub, but have read a lot of reviews comparing them and no one likes the US dubs.

Then there is also Inu Yasha. on animax, the people behind the dubs really seemed to like the series. And the people, fit exactly in the roles they were given.

Also, Shonen Onmyoji has a better dub on animax than the US dub.

Watch the first episode of each series and you will know what I am talking about.

Actually, the US dub voice actor for Sakura was only 12 when she did the voice. For Sakura in Bangzoom/Animax/Japanese were in their late 20's/early 30's.

My first choice is usually the American dub because thats where I am and I have easy access to it. I only really go out for the Ani-Max versions if the American companies are too cheap to provide a dub and just release glorified fansubs (yes I'm looking at you Bandai- Hayate, Sentai Filmworks- Maid Sama!, and NIS- ok they're still new but they haven't done ANY dubs yet).

Cardcaptor Sakura for sure! When I listened to english dubs after 4 years since i Last watched animax, I instantly knew they were different. The character voices in Animax are Natural while the Nelvana and other dubs are weird.

Well for Card Captor Sakura and other 90's Anime a lot of Animax dubs are better but there really hard to find here in the US. Well for 90's anime's that were edited in the U.S. versions and the Animax version was unedited I go for Animax. Now for Anime series post 2000 I'd go with the U.S. the dubs are actually pretty good and most anime is left unedited.

The other problem with CCS in America is that they aired it on the Kid's WB network so they had to edit and dumb it down for little kids.

Well that is the way it came on DVD also. KidsWB actually aired 37 out of 70 episodes Nelvana dubbed. But the missing episodes were included in broadcast in other countries, but the other edits remained. The Animax Dub is completely uncut, but NO DVD'S EXIST.

Yu Yu Hakusho- it was the first anime I ever watched in Animax. After rewatching it a couple of years later I was highly disgusted. I prefer Animax over US dub any day.

Other animax dubs I watched are Law of Ueki, Full Metal Alchemist, Gurren Lagen, Inuyasha etc.

I highly prefer animax voice acting over US voice acting because of availability.
