Chobits is a Sienen Manga that was also made into an anime series. Chobits, like CLAMP's famous creation, Card Captor Sakura has also got sweet characters and has not shown any concept of evil. However, it has churned in more in depth emotional depiction of human relationships and has some good amount of philosophy too. The story line is fairly good and also has a good level of suspense that keeps the reader hooked till the end.

I really enjoyed reading the manga, though I haven't seen the anime, I did enjoy the story and the suspense. However, I wouldn't recommend this anime/manga to those who did not like Card Captor Sakura's sweetness and "no evil" concept. The only aggressive character is a female persocon, whose aggression has not been shown to highly exciting levels. In the end it seems like there will be some fighting, but it did disappointed me as there was none.

This anime was interesting at first but then got boring. I dropped it because it became too boring. Although I am a CCS fan, I dont like Chobits.

I thought the anime was okay.  Interesting concept, and some good drama towards the 3rd quarter, but the majority of the series was just a bit too laid back for me I guess

Chobits.

Anime series especially for otakus. It is a good series and there is lot to learn from it, as well.

Its gives an small idea about how otakus are fixiated with the 2D world of the Anime (though there are no anime scenes inside the anime itself). And what drives them into doing so. They try to find something like perfect in their lives and it so happens to be the unreal world of Anime.

I would love to have a figurine of Chi.

A Glimpse into the mind of an Otaku, I suppose.

This anime is a strange thing. In the beginning it's all, "Silly wacky panty-filled cuteness LOLLOL" and then suddenly it switches to DEEP PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPLORATION. Still love it, but the change in tone makes it a hard seires to describe.
