I think I can relate to your enthusiasm on DBZ series.

When Cartoon Network first started airing this series it became one of my favorite along with Cardcaptors. :P

I never missed any of the episodes. I still remember Cartoon Network changing the time slot to mid-night during the latter part of the series. But, I still managed to catch it  ;)

I even managed to record some of the episodes on my PVR.

I liked the first part of Dragonball more than DBZ.

@divya if you want to know about emulators pm me or start a thread in the games section.

I have resurrect this thread because I wanted to tell that I'm also a dragon ball fan. I guess my nickname already says it all.

I love the adventures of gokou and kli-lin in dragon ball because they are so cute. I also like DBZ especially the Bou Saga, I love the Super Saiyan 3 of Gokou with the long golden hair!

DBZ was my first intro to anime and the great stories that come with it. :) I was young when they first started coming out with the series.  Didn't they start rebroadcasting the episodes this past year under the name of Dragon Ball Kai?

Yes they did rebroadcast the episodes as Dragon Ball Kai but these are remastered and made into HD. They also change the beginning and the ending of the story.

I just wish they would make new episodes starting with Gokou becoming one with the Dragon.

By the way, do you think it will still be Dragon Ball is Gokou is out of the story?

I don't think that Dragon Ball will not be complete if Goku is taken out of the picture. It started with Goku and should end with Goku.

Dragonball z was a hit on cartoon network at the time it was screened.  Though I was not a fan nor follow the series everytime, I could remember the hero Goku.  We used to shout "7 dragon balls", imitating Goku and posing like him.  It seemed to be cool to act out the fightings among the boys.
