Dragonball z was a hit on cartoon network at the time it was screened.  Though I was not a fan nor follow the series everytime, I could remember the hero Goku.  We used to shout "7 dragon balls", imitating Goku and posing like him.  It seemed to be cool to act out the fightings among the boys.

I guess you are talking about his Kamehame wave, It's really a cool pose!

Guys, Dbz is the best series ever, Gt sucks big time, dragon ball is so peaceful and lovable. Goku and trunks two superb characters.

I have a feeling there is gonna be another version of DBZ but this time with updated animation, which I thought DB Kai was going to be.

DBZ could possibly be probably the most effective and amid the earliest anime i actually watched ,I downloaded and watched every one of the episodes until cellular saga but my assortment of Buu Saga is not completely complete :(
I have also done every one of the DBZ games even the types on SNES until Budokai3 and Sparking near to the PS2

There's an absurd amount of screaming and shouting  ;) All in all, it's still a great anime.
