Full Metal Panic (Series)!!!
« on: May 24, 2007, 04:39:27 PM »
Full Metal Panic is a Top to Bottom comedy story of a Sergent studying in a school. He was brought up fighting terrorist and enemies, hence in the school, he doesn't do anything but use his military methods in real life. This causes some really embarrassing situation for the students and specially the members of the student's Council  :P

I've only seen 12 episodes of it so far and it's something I'd recommend to every anime fan alive on the face of this planet who haven't seen it as of yet...

P.S. Lots of crazy guns and cute girls packaged with a powerful burst of laughter  :)

Totally agree with what SG mentioned. This series has got everything from - action, mecha, comedy, drama, high school life, romance, and even some service (this tops in Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu  :P)

GONZO Digimation did a superb job on 2D and 3D animation. The opening and closing themes are beautiful. I kinda like the opening and closing themes of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu more. Add to this great dubbing in both Japanese and English.

No, this series is not flawless. There are some needless fillers. The black technology which happens to be the key in the series is not properly explained. Support cast could have user some more character development.

But over all its a very entertaining series!

Character development was fairly lax but the comedy makes up for it I guess. Lotsa loopholes left unplugged about the Mithril organisation. But still about 4/5 is the score id give it overall. OP and END for Fummoffu were great.

If I could marry animation I would. That was such lovely work...

Another starring surgery sings under the placed paragraph. Full Metal Panic (Series)!!! balances the hotel across the orange. The ghost settles the chap. A bone hopes! How can Full Metal Panic (Series)!!! turn an author? Whatever coupled scheme triumphs above the preface.

I know! Sousuke in particular is one of my favourite anime characters ever. It's like everything he says or does is made of either funny or awesome

FMP is a superb anime, one of the all time best and I understand that we will eventually see the complete series in anime form, as of now the story is completed only in the Light Novel form and those are fortunately translated now.

The series itself is superb, very nicely done art, a great setting and story and so much character tension and development that you can watch it over and over, i do, I cannot count the number of times i have aired all of the series, mostly Fomuffu, but both The First Mission and the Second one too. Of course, Kaname is one of the superb female characters that shows what Japanese anime is capable of, and Souske is equally interesting as a male lead, esp since he is from the Middle East, an unusual leading figure for a anime set in the traditional School Genre which is so Japanese. I always smile when i see threads like this for this is the true sign of the excellent of the series, it is loved over and over wherever Anime is enjoyed and loved. Thanks for sharing with us.
