InuYasha (Series)
« on: March 06, 2007, 05:34:36 PM »
InuYasha (I write it this way, but you'll also find Inu Yasha and Inuyasha) is my favorite fantasy anime. It has a really rich magical and fantasy imagination. Not to mention the background music and the extremely devious villian Naraku; probably the most famous villains in anime ever created. The side and supporting characters also leave a deep impact. For example, the reader/viewer would easily confuse lord Seeshoumaru as a lead character.

To be frank there is a lot about this anime. For the first time I'll feel speechless if you ask me to describe at length. Let's see how many of you actually find out good points about it. If you do, then I'll accept that I really need to improve my language skills...  ;) 8)

To be honest I am not a big fan of the anime. I only watched it cause of Sesshoumaru...... However I will say that the BGM's and the OST's were great for this anime and some of the episodes were memorable......The Shichinnintai arc was my favorite by far in the anime.......

its a good fantasy indeed. good points abt this anime would be, hmmmm...
the character sketches are good
inuyasha group is bit comical at times
the emotions of the characters are true to life.

i just donk have the proper words to say abt this anime.

though they have dragged this too long, its good to c for the first time.

The anime is very popular...... cause of Inu Yasha and Kagome I guess.......... but I failed to see why they are the principal focus of the fans....... the same routine is played over and over (between them) with a new setting........ a few arcs were indeed impressive....... but most were lacklusture........ chopping off a few unnecessary arcs and better coverage of other characters might have helped...... but this is just me....... Like I said it is VERY popular..... so something must me going right....... I am probably missing it..... or it simply does not appeal to me.......

the animation and all is quite good. no right words to say anything........

I have heard a rumor that they are planning to end it in a movie..... but this is just a rumor.......if they did it would be kind of lame......cause than it would mean very little screen time for Sesshoumaru and the others.......

I think that the rumor is utter rubbish though....... but it came from inside the country so maybe they could be right..... unless theyre pulling my leg......

If that is true, then maybe the movie is Final Confrontation. check out the Animax Whats New? section.

I watch it for Sesshomaru and I like the storyline too, the main storyline that is. the side storylines are totally useless in my opinion.
i dont like the filler episodes as well

the side storyline ?? you mean the one with Shippo and Kirara ?
They are characters too .. they are the member of our heroic group too ..
thats why i like the series soo much .. it gives importance to other main characters .
if u put it that way seshu , miro , sango , jaken and rin belong to the side storyline aswell .. coz the main story line deals with inu ,kago, kik and naraku only*
I Love Inuyasha

The manga is now bringing the other characters into the picture now..... IY himself has had very little to do in the recent chapters......

side storylines meaning the small filler episodes like Shippo's something...something.....forgot.....

what i'm saying is that i like the main storylines like the Mirroku-trying to rid his wind tunnel, the sango-kohaku one, kikiyo-inu, sessh storylines and so on..thats why i like it as well.....

characters like shippo are a complete waste of time in my opinion
