Kodocha
« on: June 04, 2009, 12:27:55 AM »

Quote
Sana Kurata has a charmed life. Not only is her mother is a famous, award-winning writer, but she's the star of the hit TV comedy "Child's Toy" while still in the fifth grade. But Sana's biggest concern is Akito Hayama, a pint-sized hellion who's organized the boys in their grade-school class into a mass of unending noise and violence. With the help of Rei, her manager, chauffeur and "pimp," Sana is determined to win back control of the classroom from her new arch-enemy. But as her crusade continues, Sana moves further into Akito's life, and finds that he might not be entirely bad...or entirely safe.

Again... the manga is what I know... pretty sure that I do not have the anime... might try it out... the manga was not half bad... but not really that impressive either... the use of the  word 'pimp' was a pretty nice touch... typical rom-com with shades of drama that got deeper as the series progressed...

Kodomo no Omocha was an excellent manga, the anime was just ......meh. Too long, it ruined the darker bits of the manga, but the dubbed first half (upto ep. 51) is a hilarious watch.

I haven't read the manga, but I thought the anime was very good.

Yeah the anime was funny, but did you know, the person who voiced Sana Kurata (Laura Bailey) voiced Lust (FMA) as well ? o_O Now, thats talent.

I hate Jerry Jewel's voice for Akito. That one sucked ass!

i like it but my only problem with it was more with the anime. yes it got dramatic at times but it all happened to suddenly, you need more explanation seeing as Kodocha is a very strait forward anime considering its plot and characters but i would recommend this as a great starter anime as well because of the fact that in the end it is a very cute and fun-loving show  ^_^
