Female seiyus have been lending their voice to both lead and supporting young male characters.

Some of the famous ones which I can recall right now:

Naruto (Naruto Uzumaki)
Fullmetal Alchemist (Edward and Alphonse Elric)
One Piece (Luffy)
Fruits Basket (Yuki)

Yeah.. I knew about Naruto(dub) and Luffy. Luffy's VActress is difficult to distinguish.

------

I noticed that Animax has cut some of the gore while telecasting. Also, there are a few dubbing errors. But the dialogues are catchy and witty. Japanese dialogues are plain and ordinary. Also Ani-Dubs matches with the emotions, at least in one occasion. For eg:

Japanese:
Saboteur: Saito, you don't frighten me. You'll never succeed defeating us(or something like that).
Saito: Is that all you're gonna say?
Saboteurs: Wha? <Surprised & Scared>

Animax:
Saboteur: Saito, you don't frighten me. When this is over I'm gonna spit on your grave.
Saito: I don't know how you're gonna do that... without a head.
Saboteurs: Wha? <Surprised & Scared>

hehe.. I generally remember dialogues very well. But this particular dialogue.. it instantly made me a fan of Saito, so I remember it even more. I was shocked to find out it wasn't the same in the Japanese version. I remember GB's dialogues like the back of my hand. Come over to chat and ask me some dialogues from fights & important situations in Animax dubbed GB.. I'll answer it in real time.  :D

This show. This show and its source-manga...

Loved it.

This was one of the first series I got into way back in the day where the fights followed a sort of strategic logic to them.
In DBZ or other shows it's "This guy fought harder, and then the other guy fought harder too, but then the first guy fought just a little harder..." ect.

In Kenshin, characters essentially operated in near-human limits and were very killable, so every attack and defence mattered.

One of my favorites.  Really sparked my interest in more serious stuff looking back to my Toonami days even though it was still shounen, it was one of the better ones.  Definitely something I'm proud to own

It has been a while since I saw this one. But I appreciated this anime. It felt more authentic in its historical context than many others I have seen. But my wife came in at a point when someone's parts were flying around and she got grossed out. "Why are you watching this junk?" she asked. I couldn't get her to see that there was a genuine storyline to consider. Ah well. I might try again later.
